Currently  we are looking for dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as HSE Officer.
Job Purpose
Under HSE Manager, ensure and responsible to coordinate and prepare Health, Safety, Environment and Business Continuity activities at the Site, and to fulfill regulatory & operational needs.
  • Set-up, implement  and maintain implementation of procedures  for day to day activity as well for site emergency condition as part of HSE Management System in accordance with government regulations, Novartis Policies and Guidance, International standard and best practices in pharmaceutical industries, including incident investigation of any non conformities.
  • Provide training related with HSE matters to internal customers such as Production, Packaging, Warehouse, EMD, Quality and other risk workplace/departments.
  • Responsible in implementation of worker participation programs as defined by HSE such as BBS
  • Responsible in waste management in: correct and accurate listing and reporting of waste inventory from and at each generator area, proper waste handling at each generator area in accordance with government regulation and Novartis Guideline, proper Waste Destruction in accordance with government regulation (BPOM, KLH, etc) and Novartis Guideline and proper Waste Storage at Temporary Waste Storage (TPS) at Sandoz site.
  • Monitoring performance of WWTP in coordination with EMD and other relevant departments.
  • Prepare periodic report to be submitted KLH/BPLHD and Depnaker such as PROPER Report, RKL & RPL Report.
  • Implement exposure monitoring at Production, EMD and Quality and other areas as needed.
  • Implement and prepare update report of PRORA, WHRA and other assessment.
  • Submit monthly and quarterly report site performance through DMS
  • Implement program of Contractor Safety Management, Work Permit System, Machine/safe guarding, LOTO, PPE,  
  • Check and evaluate of implementation of compliance of government regulations and Novartis Guideline through inspection, patrol, etc to all workplaces.
  • Sampling for environmental parameters such as effluent waste water, air, noise, etc. internally as well as externally and analyze daily or periodic parameters of waste water.
  • Monitor, inspection and testing of fire protection equipment.
  • Implement programs to achieve site and company annual objective.
  • Other tasks as required to meet government regulation and Novartis Guideline, Site Head and HSE Manager.

Background
Education :
  • Apothecary Degree or Bachelor Degree (S1) in Public Health majoring in Occupational Health and Safety
Requirements :
  • Interested in HSE field, having 1 year working experience in HSE will be an advantage.
  • Hard worker and high willingness to learn
  • Understand basic safety, emergency response and environmental management.
  • Familiar as user of Microsoft Office: Power Point, Project, Publisher, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Fair in English (written and oral).
