• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, reports and records regarding network infrastructure solutions.

CCNP Engineer or equivalen

• Working within the managed-services network team to provide day-to-day support of all network infrastructure. within the network infrastructure team.

• Implement and maintain corporate data communications network services, components and associated network infrastructure

• Review of proposals, supervising acceptance tests and commissioning communications systems and equipment.

• Managing the analysis of network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements to network infrastructures as appropriate.

• Providing technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of all technical issues related to networking equipment and services.

• Testing, implementing, monitoring and tuning networking software/hardware to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues.

• Contribute to team effectiveness and morale by active participation in team activities and development.

A world-renowned vendor is currently looking to hire a Network & Security Engineer to work on site with one of their financial services partners in London. You will work with the operations team integrating Juniper kit aligned with new datacentre builds in the networks operations centre. You will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support and troubleshooting of the network and security infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience integrating Juniper network and security kit within the network operations centre, and will have skills with SRX, QFabric, MPLS/VPN operation & design. You should have an excellent understanding of the OSI model, be familiar with Cisco/Juniper integration, and have some experience around Citrix NetScaler. Financial services experience is preferable.
