PROJECT ACCOUNTANT [PA]

v Liaising with either the Project Director/Project Manager or Project Controls Manager on all financial matters related to the Contract and Subcontracts.

v Raising invoices in accordance with the defined monthly cut off milestones and/or Contract terms and ensuring that all the required invoice backup are maintained to the maximum extent possible.

v Maintaining registers of invoices for each contract and associated Subcontracts.

v Advising either the Project Director/Project Manager or Project Controls Manager of the payment position of the Contract on a Monthly and/or regular basis for the necessary follow up with Client/Customer.

v Preparing quarterly financial forecasts of project commitments and revenue. Ensuring charges to the chart of accounts are correctly coded. Issue of additional cost code job numbers for new activities/work as and when required.

v Advising either the Project Director/Project Manager or Project Controls Manager well within time for initiating corrective actions wherever feasible on any costs anticipated to exceed allocated budgets.

v Preparing and maintaining project cash flow forecast.

v Reviewing project correspondence files to keep up to date on all project variances, sensitivities, receivable disputes, change orders and/or claims.

v Maintaining a register of financial instruments and obtaining all relevant information necessary for their issue, maintenance, and cancellation. Ensuring that appropriate accounting distributions are entered on all source documentation, i.e. requisitions, subcontract invoices, etc.

The Summer School provides a good opportunity to learn an in-depth introduction into computational logic and its applications. The school is primarily intended for graduate students and researchers with interests in logical foundations of intelligent systems and related issues. The courses are conducted in English. The number of participants is limited. Additionally, the participants will be joining LPAR 17, which will be held at the Hyatt hotel, Yogyakarta. LPAR is a prestigious international conference on Logic for Programming, Artificial Intelligence and Reasoning.
