Solution Designer PT Telkom Telstra

Position Title : Solution Designer
Code : SD (Cloud/Saas)
Job & Responsibilities :

• To develop and use solution design process documentation that defines in detail the solution design steps, documentation and systems used in the solution design function.
• To lead requirements gathering for solution design inputs and prepare technical architectural and implementation design documents and works with the project management to develop the implementation plan including bill of quantities, cost plans, project deliverables and schedules.
• To formulate managed service solutions testing and commissioning plans and support the delivery and integration of managed service solutions into the customer’s environment.
• To manage the commissioning and acceptance testing of managed service solutions required for hand over to customers.
• To provide, “As Built” solution design records for ongoing service management of solution performance and Moves, Adds & Changes.
• To develop intimate knowledge of customer’s networks and services to support troubleshooting and resolution of assurance incidents with customers and L1 to L4 support.
• To maintain awareness of existing or potential customer software/hardware/system environments and proactively alerts project management and sales team of potential problems and solutions.
• To provide expert solution design support for new and existing product development and for pre-sales solution design support for the development of customer solutions.
• To perform technical quality assurance reviews on solution designs and to adheres to agreed solution design escalation and change control procedures.
• To prepare, maintain and submit activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports in accordance with published procedures.
• To ensure the solution design function aligns with ITIL standards and methodology framework and all accreditation requirements for the solution design function are met and maintained.
• To stay current on technical specifications for hardware/software requirements of managed services and industry products through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars

Requirements :

• +2 years experience in ICT and Managed Services Business Environment or equivalent.
• University degree or equivalent in IT and/or Electrical Engineering
• Desirably possess valid network or application management accreditation.
• Strong Leadership Skills and technical aptitude.
• Ability to show initiative in solving problems and drive to succeed.
• Excellent team player and possess dynamic, positive attitude.
• Ability to develop and implement strategy and willingness to get involved and take responsibility for all elements required to bring a positive outcome for the company.

• To be responsible for new solution delivery or maybe change request activities to end customers according to approved design and manage and report on SLA implementation deliverables and ensure they are being met.
• To prepare implementation schedule, activities breakdowns and works with the project management to develop the implementation plan including bill of quantities, cost plans, project deliverables and schedules
• To formulate managed service solutions testing and commissioning plans and work with IT for integration of managed service solutions into the customer’s environment.
• To be accountable for the solution commissioning and support the project management with acceptance testing of managed service solutions required for hand over to customers.
• To update “As Built” solution design records for ongoing service management of solution performance and Moves, Adds & Changes.
• To develop intimate knowledge of customer’s networks and services to support troubleshooting and resolution of assurance incidents with customers and L1 to L4 support.

IT Application Specialist PT Telkom Telstra

Position Title : IT Application Specialist

Job & Responsibilities :

• To participate on application implementation, handle & fulfil of service requests to maintain master data within applications.
• To be responsible for management and troubleshooting of application related incidents.
• To manage alerting processes related to application health and responding to threshold alerts.
• To manage base lining and managing capacity, availability, performance to objectives.
• To propose and/or implement change requests, and maintain configuration management database, ticketing systems and change systems.
• To prioritize, propose and implement ongoing improvement, to train and support users.
• To provide regular management overviews with recommendations for ongoing improvement and management of applications, including user access provision and configurations.
• To act as point of support escalation and of business users grievances of support\service issues, as a point of contact for JV service desk and application support to ensure end to end process alignment and service level compliance.
• To ensure SLAs/ KPIs for application support are met or exceeded.

Requirements :

• Have relevant degree with 5 years IT experience, preferably in telecommunications industry.
• Possess ITIL process experience
• Experience supporting the following applications is a plus:
  • Solar Winds
  • Service-Now
  • Local Indonesian payroll
  • SAP, Oracle Finance or similar
  • Human Resource Management system (e.g. Workday)
  • Training and user support experience
• Experience with Project Management Methodology and Project Lifecycle
• Substantial application management and technical experience
• Experience in application integration projects, preferably in telecommunications industry
• Good command in English
