UNICEF has a long history of working with the corporate sector, both to raise funds for its programmes and to advocate for child-friendly business practices. In 2012, UNICEF together with other partners released a set of Children's Rights and Business Principles, a normative framework that provides guidance to companies on how to align their way of working with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. If you want to make a lasting difference to the lives of children in Indonesia by supporting corporate social responsibility with a focus on children's rights, UNICEF would like to hear from you.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The purpose of the position of the Partnerships Officer (CSR) is to advance respect for children's rights within the business sector based on the Children's Rights and Business Principles (CRBP) in support of UNICEF's mission and objectives in the country.
  1. UNICEF Indonesia CSR strategy: develop a strategy for the roll out of the Children's Rights and Business Principles in priority industries and business sectors as an advocacy tool towards achieving programmatic results.
    • Identify programmatic priorities and angles to be prioritized in CRBP promotion among business.
    • Develop an outreach plan with timelines and build relationships with key business and industry associations for CRBP engagement to pursue programme priorities
    • Develop a monitoring and evaluation plan with clear targets for the CRBP roll out plan among selected business sectors and related to programmatic priority areas.
    • Ensure that the elaboration of the strategy and annual work plan are timely executed and followed up to support country programme priorities, regional and global directives.
  1. Research on CSR practices: Commission, coordinate and conduct studies on current CSR practices and regulations with relevance to the realization of child rights in Indonesia.
    • Coordinate research on existing legislation, policies and guidelines on child related CSR in Indonesia.
    • Map existing networks and initiatives on CSR and sustainable business practices in selected business sectors with a view to creating partnerships and alliances to promote the CRBP in Indonesia.
    • Market research into knowledge, understanding and commitment to engage in CRBP among selected industries and business sectors.
  1. Capacity Buildingbuild capacity of corporate partners and industry associations on Children's Rights and Business Principles.
    • Organize training sessions among industry associations based on global CRBP training material.
    • Support self-assessments related to the CRBP of corporate partners
    • In close collaboration with the Regional Office facilitate guidance to industry associations on how to better align business practices in selected sectors with the CRBP.
  1. Advocacy for CRBP policies and regulations: develop an advocacy and communication work plan to promote policies, regulations and guidelines for CRBP implementation.
    • In collaboration with the Communication Cluster engage with media to promote the CRBP and showcase success stories and positive case studies.
    • Develop communication material that can be used for child rights advocacy towards government and private sector partners
    • In line with UNICEF's Strategic Framework on CSR and to promote the implementation of the Child Rights and Business Principles and tools, advocacy with the Government of Indonesia, industry bodies and national think tanks on child rights related CSR.
    • Identify and engage with relevant government counterparts to strengthen legislation and policies on child related CSR.
  1. Implementation of a CRBP Pilot: Initiate implementation of a pilot project with a group of corporations and/or CSR regulatory frameworks.
    • Identify champions for the implementation of an individual CRBP assessment.
    • In close collaboration with the Regional Office, provide training to the champions and support their CRBP self-assessment.
    • Document lessons learned from the pilot to be shared with Regional the Office and Private Sector Fundraising and Partnership (PFP) Headquarters.
PROFILE OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • University degree (Advanced university degree highly desirable) in Law, Social Sciences, Development or Business.
  • At least three (3) to four (4) years of professional work experience in the area of corporate social responsibility planning and/ or marketing, communication or policy advocacy.
  • Experience in the UN or other international development organization is an asset.
  • Background in emergency programme work is an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (oral and written) is required
*) First level university degree may be considered if combined with a minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in the above field.

Responsibilities:

  • Check Installation.
  • Handle Transmission, Commissioning and Integration.
  • To arrange ATP Installation and Hand Over to Client.
  • Cross connect and cut over/Swap
  • Trouble shooting.
  • Handling survey ( Engineering and LOS )

Qualifications:

  • Male / Female, 22 - 30 years old.
  • Diploma/Bachelor in Electro/ Telecommunication.
  • Having two year experience in same field is more preferable.
