Executive, Radio Network Planning

Job Responsibilities: Dimensioning the 2G/3G network (number of BSC, BTS, TRX, Abis, RNC, NodeB, Iub) according to the coverage, capacity, and quality required by corporate strategy. Design and plan 2G/3G network coverage and services in an RF planning tool (NetAct, Asset, Planet etc); defining their related parameters: site coordinates, antenna type, antenna height, antenna tilt, antenna azimuth, BTS/CPICH power, cable loss, propagation model parameters etc. Validating site configuration in the field during the technical site survey visit based on the Technical Site Survey Report. Setting and/or verifying the specific RF parameters for the site to be integrated: BSC/RNC-id, BTS/NodeB-id, Global CGI, BCCH/UARFCN frequency, scrambling code, neighbors etc. Analyzing site performance after integration through drive test measurements and/or OSS measurements, detecting eventual problems and able to recommending changes to fix those problems. In a project, coordinating and validating the technical work of a small group of RF performance engineers. Become an interface between customer service, marketing, sales, government regularity body and the department to address any issue raised by the regularity body. Co-operates with Network Operations team to give recommendation from complaints and provide solution from RF view. Attend the priority (VIP and Corporate) customers and provide optimum solution for any service degrading related issues with highest priority. Maintain database and parameters as planning guideline as well as optimization activity result. Have capabilities to explore the parameters and features as respective vendor.
