Scope of Work:

This is a position for a solution architect in the Integration Services, Convergence (IMS) organization.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Create, present, and implement competitive solutions by partnering with customers to analyze needs, gather specifications and situational requirements, and work with business development personnel to create effective solutions specifically tailored to the individual entity.
• Drive business and Service Layer development with the customer by finding new convergence opportunities based on expanding existing solutions as well as creating new ones.
• Provide support to the internal market and sales organizations as an expert in the solutions portfolio.
• Contribute at customer site visits as the solutions expert
• Write and review Statement of Compliance documents and customer solution descriptions as well as marketing materials
• Analyze customer business processes and requirements
• Secure the functionality and technical quality of deliveries in customer projects.
• Handle change requests and the consequences of such requests for ordered and/or delivered offers from a solutions point of view
• Attend as well as drive customer meetings for specific solutions and different areas.
• Implement existing solution in lab or customer network using Ericsson products, 3rd party, or customized packages

COMPETENCE: Skills, Experience, and Education:

• BS or MS in EE, CS, or CE or acceptable combination of equivalent post secondary education and experience
• 7-10 years previous experience working in software design and integration.
• Excellent knowledge of VoIP, 3GPP (IMS – CSCF, HSS, MRF, IP Sec, TLS), and SIP based applications (SIP based presence, SIP Application Server)
• Excellent knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter).
• Strong knowledge of network management and provisioning (XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP).
• Strong knowledge of wireless technologies (call flow) and related protocols required
• Security and Authentication experience preferred
• Installation and configuration of servers, routers, and switches highly desired.
• Good knowledge of SIP based IP telephony products from other vendors is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ericsson products (TSP), specifically IMS is a plus. Core Competencies:
