Position Name: BSS/Charging System Test Engineer
Start Date: August 2011 / Immediate
Duration: Long Term
Location: Plano, TX (other locations possible)

Scope of Work:

• Billing prepaid charging and Revenue Assurance background (System Integration Group)
• Must have experience with Ericsson CCN and call flow testing abilities.
• Install and configure Ericsson’s CCN application platform.
• Design IP/SS7 scheme for Lab and Production implementations.
• Trouble-shoot call connection/processing problems among charging system nodes (CCN, SDP) using MAP, CAP and INAP protocol traces.
• Analyze CCN data/voice traces related to SS7 signaling using APA, CCN Trace analyzer and CDR decoder tools.
• Perform verification of integration of CCN nodes using Diameter_Load_Generator tool along with counters data.
• Resolve configurations and call processing related issues among IMS nodes, analyzed traces using packet sniffing tools like Wireshark and resolved issues successfully.
• Simulate test cases using SIP based tool SIPp (traffic generator) and analyzed the messages flow through Wireshark.
• Perform verification and troubleshooting of IMS nodes using Wireshark, LDAP Browser, JXplorer, Eyebeam and Sleipner tools
