Position : General Manager – RF Planning
Location : Major City, South East Asia
Responsibilities :
As the overall head of RF Planning, the selected candidate will lead a team responsible for immediate and long term RF planning to ensure network capacity meets
current and future network requirements. He/She will be responsible for :
* RF Network Planning, Optimization and Network Performance
* Annual budget of sites for the whole network
* New sites roll out plan based on coverage and capacity
* Finalization of RF Planning and release of sites for acquisition
* Fine tuning/introduction of new processes for improving productivity
* Coordination with external (like equipment vendors, site owner, contractors etc) and internal (OM, Marketing, Customer Care, Commercial and Finance) ecosystem
Requirements :
* Masters/Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering from a reputable university
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in the wireless industry with 2-3 years in a similar capacity
* Knowledge of RF Designing, Planning & Optimization in CDMA Network
* Site survey for macro & micro sites to meet traffic and coverage requirements
* Site roll-out process definition
* Vendor coordination
* Preparation of different propagation models in planning tool depending on clutter density
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Negotiation skills for dealing with vendors
* Leadership in identifying requirements, acquiring content, driving the process and managing teams
