RF Planning Expert, 2G/3G - Iraq - $7,500 plus benefits

• Preparation of a business plan for 3 years for (2G/3G based on the marketing inputs and Network capacity and coverage requirements).
• Detailed budgeting for the Annual Operating plan using the bottom up approach.
• Traffic modeling and Capacity dimensioning for 2G/3G.
• Link budget, coverage planning with specific QoS for 2G/3G.
• Using Aircom planning tool Asset for RSCP and Ec/Io analysis for 3G and Coverage plot for 2G.
• 2G/3G features planning.
• Channel elements, Iub and code planning for 3G.
• Nominal cell design and engineering parameters planning for 2G/3G.
• Building the BoQ based on business plan and nominal plans.
• Preparing RFP/RFQ/RFI for specific project related to RAN.
• Frequency planning using xAFP (Ericsson) based on MMR.
• Spectrum carving of GSM900 band. Redirecting traffic from GSM900 to DCS1800.
• Radio network parameters design.
• Pre-launch optimization for 2G/3G.
• Troubleshooting to meet the acceptable KPIs for 2G/3G.
• Antenna selection for appropriate application and technologies.
• Capacity and Coverage plan for the special events in Iraq.

Required Skills:
• Very good experience in Huawei 2G/3G radio environment is mandatory.
• Hand on experience on Huawei GBSS13, BSC6900 and M2000.
• Clear understanding of Link budget analysis for 2G and 3G.
• Expertise in 2G/3G coverage dimensioning with hand on experience in Aircom planning tool Asset V.7.
• Experience in using traffic statistics tool Optima (Aircom).
• Expertise in capacity dimensioning for 2G CS and PS networks using marketing inputs and network requirements.
• Expertise in capacity dimensioning for 3G R99 and HSPA+ services using marketing inputs.
• Expertise in Channel element, Code and Iub dimensioning for 3G.
• Clear understanding of traffic models for 2G and 3G dimensioning.
• Understanding of methodologies used for projects like annual operating plan (Annual budgeting exercise for RF requirements) and 3 years business plan for 2G/3G networks.
• Complete understanding of 2G/3G Huawei features.
• Expertise in Nominal cell design for 2G/3G sites.
• Cell parameters planning such as handoff, power control, channel assignment, access and system parameter etc.
• LAC/RAC/SAC & RNC border design.
• Experience in preparing documents like BoQ, RFQ, RFI, RFP and PR.
• Frequency planning for 2G using xAFP (Ericsson).
• Expertise on using Tems Investigation V-11 and post processing tool Actix.
• Expertise in spectrum carving and shifting of 2G traffic from GSM900 to DCS1800 band.
• Experience of Single RAN and SDR environment. Comprehensive knowledge of DBS3900, RRU3929, RRU3829 with all related power and technology configurations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of tuning Radio parameters and features for 2G/3G.
