SYSTEM ANALYST

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Of Engineering (any discipline) in related technical discipline and 4+ years relevant experience or Master's Degree in related technical discipline.
• Lead resource regarding applications software product with in-depth knowledge of the product.
• Must possess extensive knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and quality, technical leadership and solid team leadership skills, as well as the ability to learn applications quickly.
• Demonstrate superior problem solving and resolution skills.
• Extensive knowledge of telecommunications industry is preferable.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Experienced in Unified Software Development Process (RUP), Object Oriented Design Patterns, Object Oriented Programming Languages.
• Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Java EE and related technology.
• Strong knowledge in Oracle database system and related technology.
• Strong knowledge in System Administration, Unix shell Scripting or other Shell Script Language such as Phyton or Perl.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with both external customers and internal resources to identify business needs on a regular basis.
• Creating case based requirements in support of the development methodology while gaining experience in the client methodology framework.
• Lead the front-end process based on the development methodology and following through on the specific assigned feature(s) in a release.
• Work effectively with application developers to communicate functional requirements and translating the requirements into system design.
• Work with developers to create clearly defined design documents.
• Work with applications developers, testing and technical writing resources throughout the lifecycle of enhancements.
• Perform high level design and development work for applications, as required.
• Expanding SME level knowledge to multiple areas of the applications software product.
• Mentor and possibly provide supervisory assistance to Associate (B1) and Analyst (B2) level resources.
• Assist new or potential clients to analyze gaps in functionality of the applications software product with clients.
