Sales Application Engineer - Indonesia
Job Description:
- Achieve revenue, margin, expense and profit objectives.
- Develop channels on strategic vertical markets such as electronics/semiconductor, cable and wire, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food and beverage to support our sales growth.
- Focus and understand the needs and requirements of the customers in the strategic vertical markets, frame solutions and map competitors.
- Winning market share through customer-focused programs, and to retain / regain customers through aggressive promotional strategies.
- Follow up and manage distribution channels for strategic vertical markets.
- Train sales team of channel partners to grow sales and gain market share of equipment and after-market products.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering. Applicants with a Diploma/Degree in Business Studies may also be considered.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of application sales management experience in a Multi-National company offering technical products (preferably in the Manufacturing & Packaging industry) where growth is achieved through differentiation and not price alone.
- Sales experience in handling special project and key account management, account mapping, value selling, management of sales channels, identifying of unmet needs, framing voice of the customer and developing targeted segments.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Fluent in both spoken & written English is a must.
- Willing to travel to various parts of Indonesia.
