Mechanical Engineer for Product Engineering Department

Responsibilities:

To execute engineering activities for different components of CFB (Circulating Fluidized Bed) Boiler such as buckstays, casing, ducts, pressure parts, piping: establish, check, rework and complete of relevant 3D model; general arrangement drawings; assembly drawing; sub-assembly drawings; detailed drawings; bill of materials; purchasing technical specification; coordination and agreement with supplier when necessary. The activities include performing necessary mechanical calculation for basic design of the associated drawings/models.

The task will also include the following activities: manage, check and control of outsourced work packages; technical support from purchasing request to commissioning of all designed components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering or Metal Work Engineering

• Having min. 3 years experience in engineering of utility or industrial boiler

• Experience with CAD system and having experience with 3D software is an advantage (such as PDMS Solid EDGE, or Bentley Microstation)

• Familiar with boiler / pressure part’s applicable codes and standards (i.e. ASME)

• Knowledge of basic stress calculation including metallurgy

• Knowledge of sheet metal work

• Good English proficiency (reading, writing and speaking)

• Willing to stay in Surabaya
