Well established multidiscipline construction and engineering PMA company
invite qualified and experienced professionals who can work as a team, with
proven competencies in the whole range of development and improvement
initiatives, to fill the following positions:
QUANTITY SURVEYOR ENGINEER - CIVIL / STRUCTURE ( Will be based on Project Location )
Applicants must be able to demonstrate prior site experience within the construction and heavy industry sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Project Manager on monthly progress claim for work completed.
- Assisting Project Manager on the preparation of the monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
- Maintaining register of variations, extension of time claim.
- Liasing effectively with site engineers and supervisors to ensure all relevant information in relation to variations and extension of time claims is captured.
- Maintaining and controlling engineering documents and drawings.
- Comply with the Company safety, quality and environmental requirements.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Minimum 8 years experience as a Quantity Surveyors with a contractor.
- Bachelor Degree in civil engineering or suitable equivalent.
- Experience in project engineering and a working knowledge of project management.
- Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same.
- Strong and clear communication skills (English verbal and written) with proven ability to engage others.
