Expanding and strengthening their business in Indonesia, our client is seeking a proactive individual to take on the role as Applications / Technical Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Implement business strategies and plans within Indonesia for the Automation and Control products to meet or exceed annual sales goals
- Review the forecast and front log, define growth & recovery activities and document key wins / losses
- Provide pre-sales support to Account Managers in closing orders
- Identify the customer’s technical & commercial challenges during pre-sales activities and engage appropriate resources to bring issues to resolution
- Provide business and product updates to sales team and distributors’ product specialists
- Coordinate proof of concept and prepare sales proposals to customers
- Support commercial events by delivering customer presentations & seminars
- Coordinate cross-sales activities and expand business with current & new customers
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of work experience in sales, technical sales and/or application sales experience
- Good understanding and technical knowledge of PLC, SCADA, Software (HMI) and industrial networks
- Familiarity of Indonesia market in terms of Automation application and requirement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with the cross-functional team and manage cross-culture business activities
