Tangent International are currently seeking a 2G Nokia Lead Engineer for an
Immediate project in Kenya.
2G Nokia Lead Engineer:
Be the primary technical interface to Customer during implementation phase
for following activities: RAN Implementation & migration, System
Acceptance, Fault Management, Software Release Management (License Key
Management), Network Retrofits
Responsible for completing of testing and acceptance activities
Act as the prime technical interface of the project implementation teams,
product lines and 3rd party suppliers.
Technical guidance and support of other team members to avoid problems
before they occur, Information sharing and competence transfer, proven
presentation and training skills including:
Critical review of the detailed RAN access planning
Critical review of the detailed transmission planning (IP)
Managing of the migration activities ( BS2XX from e/cBSC to Flexi BSC)
Follow-up of technical issues which arises during the rollout
Follow-up of acceptance together with the RF team
Main Skills
Proven field experience in Flexi EDGE BTS and Flexi BSC implementations
Good knowledge of NetAct
Good experience of KPI implementation and benchmarking in 2G ex-Nokia.
Analytic capacity to combine different sources of information
Proven people management skills
Excellent reporting skills
Good working relation with customer and in NSN organization
