Urgent Requirement for the following positions with large telecom company:

IP Backbone Planning, NW Design & Optimization Engineer

Requirement:

Experience: 4yrs to 8yrs

Should be: Cisco Certified Engineer: CCNA and CCNP or CCIP

Good knowledge in:

• PS- IP core technologies/protocols such as 2G/3G GPRS mobility management, session management, Gb-over-FR/IP, Iu-over-ATM/IP, and GTP/GTP’, Sigtran, IN services and etc.

• Legacy/NG IP technologies/protocols such as routing, multi-layer switching, IP addressing, MPLS, OSPF, BGP and etc.

• Mobile applications/services such as WAP, MMS, Streaming etc.
• Acts as a PS network planning & Optimization Participated in a network optimization case or shown the needed capability
  Develops planning & Optimization processes.
  Support/ work closely with Solution Architect & Solution consultants to propose up selling solutions to customer.

Experience in Nokia Siemens Network (including ex-Nokia/ex-Siemens products) 2G/3G GPRS systems design, planning and/or optimization preferred.

NW Design & Optimisation Engineer, Radio GSM/EDGE for Sudan

Position: NW Design & Optimisation Engineer, Radio GSM/EDGE
Location: Sudan
Contract Duration: 6 months
Start Date: Jan 2010

Job Role:

-Performs design and performance activities in customer projects independently, according to project plan and in project managers guidance

-Provides support to clients and/or customers (typically on-site) in his field of expertise

-Operates in compliance with the processes, methods and tools linked to the job and possesses service excellence awareness

-Reports the progress of his/her work to project management / line management

-Works typically on one or alternatively in two technology areas

-Efficient utilization of design and measurement tools, including internal and external troubleshooting tools

-Network Dimensioning for sales.

-Network design

-Field Measurements and laboratory tests

-Network and/or service optimization.

Language : English, Arabic is a plus.
