RF Optimizer / Engineer Optimization

We are currently recruiting for IT & Telco Company line business in provides next-generation, mobility and wireless solutions to enterprises. Enterprise Communications Solutions, Mobile application Services, Mobile Network Services. Core expertise in IP and wireless communications.

Job Descriptions:

• To perform GSM RF network optimization for projects.
• Recommend network parameter and configuration changes during optimization process.
• Monitoring of the network’s performance through drive test and OSS statistics, and troubleshoot where necessary.
• Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the network are met through constant iterative optimization processes.
• Periodic documentation of optimization routines, processes and results.
• Participate in BTS swap and BTS/BSC re-homing activities.
• Meeting with Customer to resolve technical issues related to the network.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the wireless industry in technical roles.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a network optimization role (on outdoor or macro networks) for GSM technology.
• Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, preferably with emphasis on RF or Wireless Communications.
• Experience with Nokia GSM BSS infrastructure, network parameters and Nokia project procedures are a plus.
• Ability to use cell planning tools such as Nokia’s NetAct, Aircom’s Asset, Ericsson’s TEMS Cell Planner, or equivalent is a plus.
• Ability to use drive test tools such as Ericsson TEMS and the associated post-processing software.
• Ability to use test and measurement tools such as spectrum analyzers, scanners, etc., preferable.
• Good analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills, with fluency in spoken and written English a must.
• Good team work and interpersonal skills, with a proactive nature to drive the network optimization process.
