Network and Security Engineer
Position Requirements: Network and Security Engineer
Essential:
- 3+ years of experience in Network and Security domain
- Hands on experience in Network Devices Monitoring and Monitoring Tools
- Hands on experience in Cisco Router, Switches and VPN
- Hands on experience in PIX Firewall & Net Sreen (Juniper)
- Hands on experience in Bluecoat Proxy and F5 Load balancer
- Hands on experience in Wireless
- Good understanding of Network and Security principles
- Holds CCNA (mandatory) and CCNP (preferred)
Role & Responsibilities:
- Planning/Managing/Trouble Shooting/Tuning Network hardware and software systems
- Identification and resolution of network hardware problems/malfunctions
- System audit and site documentation updation
- Enable required access controls to ensure security for devices and network resource
- Carrying out VA and
- Formulating and implementing network monitoring, policies, procedures and standards relating to Network and Security management
- Provide regular feedback / observations / improvement areas with report to Infra Head and
Competences:
Functional:
- Strong written/verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa
- Positive and flexible attitude
- Ability to think clearly, identify risks, anticipate eventualities and resolve problems under pressur
- Ability to understand and comply with business processes and procedure
- Ability to interact with users / partners / vendors / sub-contractors effectivel
- Ability to work on odd hours/weekends
Technical:
- Ability to understand and comply with methods, standards, guidelines, tools, techniques and procedures
Managerial:
- Good team player with ability to manage, appraise and groom team(s) of highly skilled resource
- Ability to complete tasks within agreed budget, timeframe and quality requirements
