Network Engineer CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCVP, CISSP, PMP

Network Engineer  - PT Tara Sumber Makmur

Responsibilities


  • The networking engineers are required to communicate technical networking information to non technical customers.
  • Maintain Documentation, Network Policies and and Security standards.
  • Monitor network for status and potential problems with tools such as MRTG, Cisco Works, Syslog-ng, HP Openview.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state of the art network technologies for problem resolution and project planning.
  • Contact vendors of network equipment for technical assistance and problem resolution.  This position supports a 24x7 production environment. 
  • Network devices configuration setup and cordination with vendor for network H/W configuration.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment. 
  • Understanding and ability to deploy technologies:
            - Cisco 6500/7600 platforms, to include Firewall Service Modules and Content Switching Modules.
            - Cisco Checkpoint platforms.
            - Cisco 7200, 3800, and 2800 series routers.
            - Cisco 3700, 3500, and 4900 series layer 3 enabled switching.
            - Cisco NX 5K and 7K series layer 3 enabled switching.
            - Commercial Physical Cable specification and termination for Fiber Optic and Copper high capacity network      grade deployments.
  • Understanding of  routing on Windows, Solaris, Linux and/or HPUX
  • Packet level troubleshooting experience with Infinistream, Sniffer, tcpdump, snoop, and winpcap.
  • Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with EIGRP, BGP4, OSPF and Static Routing.
  • Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with layer 2 STP, CEF, and dCEF.
  • Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with firewalled environments based upon the Pix, ASA, FWSM, and Checkpoint Firewalls.
  • Detailed understanding and practical experience with Cable Plant testing and certification.
  • Detailed understanding and troubleshooting experience with DNS, Active Directory, Radius, ACS.
  • Helpful training or certifications would include:  CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCVP, CISSP, PMP               
  • F5 6900 LTM, Viprion 4200 installation, configuration, troubleshooting.                                         
  • Solarwinds NMS, cisco prime/works, configuration, installation, troubleshooting.
  • Data center management facility, hands on and understanding of including cooling, power, cabling
  • Will be required to be available outside regular business hours to address production problems, perform maintenance, and provide OGS.  This includes availability both on-site and by telephone. May be required to work any shift including, but not limited to, 12 hour 4-on 4-off work week and/or straight night or weekend shifts without regard to holidays.
  • Desired Cisco qualification: CCNA or CCNP. Install, configure, support and maintain network devices.
  • Project planning, implementation and documentation  required to meet internal and external Company customer requirements.
  • Experience with LAN / WAN administration highly desirable.           
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills and comfortable in a culturally diverse working environment; ability to interact positively with management. Independent problem solving skills; self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in SLA pressure situations.
  • Ability to work within a call management system to handle daily tasks. Previous experience with a Production Environment.
