We currently require 2 x MPLS Design Engineers, 1 Senior and 1 Junior. You
will be based in KSA, *Tax Free*

The Senior MPLS design engineer is going to work at a tier-1 service
provider in, Saudi Arabia.
You will be responsible for requirements analysis and detailed design of
various technical aspects for MPLS core network on a project basis. Also,
accountable for bringing together different design aspects and applying
them in a relevant manner to a customer product or service. You will
provide peer reviews for both Network and Solution Designs.

As a Senior MPLS Design Engineer, You will need to communicate design
details with rollout and support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand customer requirements at a detailed level in order to
translate them into technical specifications
- Develop creative and innovative architectural designs for a complex module
- Work with project managers and peers to understand and solve challenging
technical problems
- Work with project managers and peers to produce effort estimates
- Assess requirements and make design recommendations
- Produce models (integrated function, process dependency or entity
relationship) that form the foundation for further analysis
- Develop architecture designs which are well-thought of, reasonable and
practical
- Leverage customer methodologies to produce results in a timely and
predictable manner
- Assess difficult requirements, processes them and form innovative models
to arrive at solutions to address these requirements

Education & Qualifications:

- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering,
Mathematics, etc.)
- CCIE-SP (Service Provider) certification is a Must
- CCDE is a plus
- Juniper or Huawei expert level certificate is a plus
- ITILv3 is a plus
- PMP is a plus

Experience:

-10 yrs of Cisco Network experience
- 5 yrs of Cisco MPLS Design Experience at Tier-1 Service Provider

Knowledge & Skills:

- Cisco CRS-1, CRS-3 SC and MC
- Cisco 7600
- Cisco GSR 12K
- ASR 9K
- Cisco Catalyst 6500
- Network Capacity Management
- Experience in redundancy architecture where more than 1 level of
redundancy is exist
- Strong knowledge of standard engineering principles, theories, concepts
and techniques.
- Strong understanding of system integration and hardware issues.
- Demonstrates a practical awareness of other architectures.
- Demonstrates core engineering competencies.
