We are looking for qualified applicants for the following positions :

Senior QS / Contracts Engineer

Project based role supporting Project manager on contractual and commercial affairs including :

• Manage project cash and cost control
• Procurement of subcontracted works and materials
• Internal and external correspondence
• Pursue and resolve variations and contract entitlements
• Prepare claims for additional time and cost
• Final account negotiations and agreements with Client and subcontractors
• Placement and management of insurances, guarantees, bonds and credit facilities
• Timely submittal of payment applications to Clients
• Subcontractor’s payments and final accounts
• Managing commercial staff

Required qualifications

Education:

• Higher vocational education, minimal at B.Sc. level a

Knowledge:

• Thorough knowledge of construction law in general and contractual knowledge in particular
• Good commercial/ financial knowledge on project-level
• Good knowledge of the estimation and cost-control process
• Be able to communicate clearly, orally and in writing in English.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years experience as Project Surveyor.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Has a planning & Organizing capabilities, strong in leadership, team worker and good command of English both oral and written.
