VAS Operations Engineer

Job description:

• Actively servicing client and customer for technical issues at field to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance, consultancy, technical support and problem resolution to assist customers/channel partners in project implementation.
• Communicate with customers while investigating or providing problem resolution.
• Collaborate with other teams to create quicker issue resolution to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Answer escalation questions and provide consulting service for internal colleagues where appropriate.
• Develop working knowledge of all products and services offered by the Company.
• Execute hardware and software installation, configuration, and patch.
• Participate in system integration and user acceptance tests.
• Create and manage system configuration documentation.
• Perform scheduled night job activities.
• Perform system monitoring activities to production applications on daily basis and provide early warning indicators.
• Execute and support the operations installation of new software releases/updates into production.

Requirement:

• 1-2 years experience or more in Network & System Infrastructure.
• Familiar with a wide range of operating system: Sun OS, LINUX, UNIX for telco service application.
• Familiar with IT Network & System Infrastructure ( TCP/IP, Network Management, Cabling System, OS, Hardware & Software ).
• Familiar with UNIX shell scripting.
• Familiar in with SQL Language
• Understand basic concepts of SS7 messaging and GSM
