In Jakarta DUQSi Indonesia is looking for a technically skilled individual who is an effective and disciplined worker, self-motivated, flexible, and a team player. TheSoftware Engineer develops software applications in Object Oriented programming languages on Linux platforms, and supports installation and maintenance of Installation Sites.
This person must innovate, set trends, understand media technology and customer functionality needs, and must have the ability to develop new technology in cooperation with western and local engineers. Excellent English is a must!

SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Understand and Document in English Language operational requirements, system specification, system design and architecture, based on input from Media Operators, Customers, and internal Media Administration users
• Specify, Design and Develop Software Programs, graphical applications or functions based on Operational and Functional requirements, Design and Architecture
• Work in and use Professional Design and Development Tools as well as general purpose modeling languages such as Universal Modeling Language (UML)
• Analyze and breakdown problems in understandable structures, being able to document and visualize and to present this to other people.
• Create and Initiate ideas for new business models, products, applications and functions
• Work in design and development team as well as maintenance and installation team
• Demonstrate detail-oriented and strong organization and time-management skills
• Work in DUQSi Head Quarter office and on DUQSi Installation sites
• Report to the Technical Supervisor

Qualifications

• Male or Female, max 28 years old
• University Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related technical study
• Minimum three years professional experience in software engineering and development
• Have strong focus on Linux, Java, PHP, scripting and other programming languages
• Have strong knowledge and experience with (SQL) Databases
• Have experience with and understand Universal Modeling Language (UML)
• Have clear proven documentation skills (System Specification, Design and Architecture)
• Fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Creative skills, as well as interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Drivers C License (preferable)
