Unix System Admin
We currently have open positions for Unix System Administrators. These positions are based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in AIX\HPUX\Linux System Administration
- Adequate Knowledge of UNIX\LINUX Platform and strong fundamentals.
- Strong Knowledge & Experience in AIX environment.
- Good Understanding of trouble shooting & AIX Commands.
- Strong experience in interfacing of external devices like Storage, Networking and backup devices
- Experience on the following layered products( in one or more will be Mandatory, more than two will be an added advantage)
- MC Service Guard, SAN(XP Storage arrays/EVA),
- Capability to plan and execute UNIX Security.
- Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP
- Loading of software, Networking, TCP/IP, NFS, NIS & DNS
- Preffered: Windows/ HP Unix / Solaris / Other Certification
- Ability to work on shift basis on requirement
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, documenting, system administration and supporting application users
- Routine system performance monitoring and alerts
- Daily backup/restore operation
- Routine system audit and documentation
- Daily support to application user
- Provide regular feedback / reporting on operations, issues
- Update the asset inventory and track changes with all IMAC
- Data centre management
