Job & Responsibilities :
- To provide leadership and strategy to the T&P team to plan and deliver technology and platforms that enable managed service solutions that align with customer requirements and the JV’s market strategy
- To demonstrates flexibility and focus to prioritise and undertake activity in Operations as required to support JV growth
- To manage internal and external partner resources to deliver and maintain technology and platforms
- To ensure T&P activities are delivered to committed quality, cycle time, cost and customer satisfaction targets
- To develop and maintain a technology and platform roadmap for the JV including lifecycle management
- To provide and manage a test lab environment to prove products in readiness for launch to production
- To provide platform engineering capability to deliver in-life performance and improvement
- To lead the development of alliance strategy with partners, taking into consideration corporate objectives around sales, product development, operations and procurement
- To maximize vendor partnership value across employee accreditation, technology accreditation, vendor support, go to market, offer, certification and incentive plans for each vendor alliance
- To provide seamless introduction of services into production that are integrated
- To develop and maintain in partnership with vendors the technology and platforms required to enable a immersive Customer Experience Centre that allows customers to experience managed service solutions that deliver business benefits
- To provide inputs into a cycle of continuous improvement in the Operations business that scopes and delivers improved productivity and customer advocacy outcomes
- To develop and maintain win-win relationships with key JV, Telkom, partner and customer stakeholders
- 10+ years in ICT with direct experience in products or sales,
- 5+ years alliance or complex account management
- University degree or equivalent in IT and/or Electrical Engineering
- High level of understanding of ICT industry especially managed services, cloud services, collocation & managed hosting, unified communications, and channel management
- Technology and platform certification highly desirable
- Experience with enterprise routers, switches and network management devices and applications
- A demonstrated understanding of Customer Networks, specific to a single or multiple customers
- Ability to show initiative in solving problems and drive to succeed
- Proven ability working across multiple functions/cultures
- Demonstrated ability to carry out multi level stakeholder management
- Strong team ethics
- Strong ability to drive metrics to achieve targets
- Excellent verbal and presentation communication skills
- Commercial skill/experience
- Demonstrable skill in business development and sales is highly desirable
- Possess dynamic, positive attitude
- Willingness to get involved and take responsibility for all elements required to bring a positive outcome for the JV.
