We are currently recruiting for the global leader in virtualization solutions from the desktop to the datacenter; bringing cloud computing to businesses of all sizes.
Key Activities:
- Support Territory Manager sales force
- Recognize opportunities
- Design solutions
- Qualify opportunities from technical perspective
- Work with Territory Partners to perform Technical Validation activities
- Identify and engage partners
- Mentor and develop partners
- Build a technical community in the territory (in conjunctions with the Partners SE)
- Architect medium to complex solutions in pre-sales context
- Consult to customers on business and technical requirements
- Develop technical solutions – unsolicited proposals, presentations etc
- Perform planning and pre-sales tasks, for example capacity planning assessment
- Assist sales in development of ROI studies
- Set up demonstrations of the products and deliver these to customers and also potentially peer SE’s, Sales and Channel partners
- Develop and maintain own skills in the Products
- Assist in strategic post-sales escalation as required
Required Skills and background:
- BA/BS or equivalent required
- At least 6 or more years experience in System Engineering in the IT industry with at least 2 year in sales/pre-sales
- Strong communication skills in both English and local Bahasa Language
- Strong IT infrastructure technical skills including x86 Server platforms, Windows Server and Linux operating system expertise, Storage technologies and TCP/IP networking.
- Multiple platform experience with Linux, Windows, and Unix is ideal
- Background in scripting or programming a significant plus
- Strong self-starter with a proven track record of accomplishment
