Head of Technology Strategy-PT AXIS Telekom Indonesia

Job Description

• Investigate new and upcoming technologies and evaluate their suitability for use in AXIS network on the basis of business plan, marketing strategy, competitive landscape and ROI
• Present information to AXIS CTO and Board of Directors to provide a general understanding of new technologies’ functionality, their place in AXIS network and the benefits and risks associated with their introduction
• dentify and monitor International and National users of newly developed technologies to assess market response and business impactPropose and develop cost effective, green solutions using advanced power system technology as it becomes available
• Maintain close ties with leading technology vendors to gain insight into their future plans and technology roadmaps
• Keep closely monitor on GSM organization and ITU recommendations and developments to ensure compliance and prompt response to change
• Stay abreast of Indonesian regulatory issues affecting Indonesian mobile industry
• Process changes to the organization’s human resource programs and policies in accordance with guidelines so that these programs are implemented accurately and fairly

Desired Skills & Experience

• Excellent knowledge of current vendor products and services
• Wide experience of various technologies and their benefits
• Long established background in mobile telephony environment
• Past experience in both an operator and vendor environment
• Exceptional project management and risk analysis skills
• Exceptional understanding of market trends and customer requirements with regard to existing technologies
• Keen understanding of future technology developments and their place in the mobile environement
• Exceptional analytical, reporting and language skills to support high level presentations to executive management
• Well developed understanding of the telecommunications industry as a whole
• Ability to propose cost effective solutions to meet future
• Process changes to the organization’s human resource programs and policies in accordance with guidelines so that these programs are implemented accurately and fairly
