Unix System Admin

We currently have open positions for Unix System Administrators. These positions are based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Skills Required:

• 2+ years of experience in Solaris\HPUX System Administration
• Adequate Knowledge of UNIX Platform and strong fundamentals.
• Strong Knowledge & Experience in HPUX/Solaris environment.
• Good Understanding of trouble shooting of HPUX/Solaris.
• Strong experience in interfacing of external devices like Storage, Networking and backup devices
• Experience on the following layered products (in one or more will be Mandatory, more than two will be an added advantage): MC Service Guard, SAN (XP Storage arrays/EVA).
• Strong Knowledge & Experience with Veritas Netbackup and HP Data Protector
• Capability to plan and execute UNIX Security.
• Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP
• Loading of software, Networking, TCP/IP, NFS, NIS & DNS
• Ability to work on shift basis on requirement
• Preffered: HP Unix / Solaris / Other Certification

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, documenting, system administration and supporting application users
• Routine system performance monitoring and alerts
• Daily backup/restore operation
• Routine system audit and documentation
• Daily support to application user
• Provide regular feedback / reporting on operations, issues
• Update the asset inventory and track changes with all IMAC
• Data centre management
