Key Responsibility

To administer the network systems installations, manage the file server, user security system hierarchy and troubleshooting of the network environment.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications :

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering.
• Having knowledge of computer networking with 5 years work experience in IT.
• Experience in managing File Server and it’s related equipment
• English proficient (both written and oral)
• Willing to stay in Surabaya.

Network Administrator

The Position

The successful candidate will report to the Corporate Senior Manager. The incumbent shall provides advance services in network engineering, in which he/she design networks from the ground up based on a group company's needs and priorities to company level. This may also branch out into other areas of information technology such as server administrations, data/storage administration, system contingency plan, intranet or end user trouble shooting. Technically, Network Administrators should be familiar with a variety of network operating systems, including Microsoft and Linux/Unix.

Network administration requires good organizational and logical thinking skills, both to set up and administer a network and to diagnose and solve problems. Administrators must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines when required. Because they may have to work with users who have little or no technical knowledge, this position will require essential knowledge in communication skill. The incumbent must demonstrate ability to communicate complex and unfamiliar ideas.

The Person

- Having at least 3 years experiences in IT or MIS, focusing in infrastructure or network engineering

- Deep knowledge of PC/Server network security, applications, procedures, and techniques.

- Developed communication skill, preferably English in both oral and written

- Possess good aptitude and interpersonal skill

- Has solid leadership and team work player

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

• Monitor IT infrastructure support (hardware and equipment), including preventive maintenance (anti virus protection, warranty renewal), trouble shooting (PCs and LAN), servers and communication lines, in order to ensure IT infrastructures in all offices are working properly and effectively.
• Monitor IT system support, including software installation, maintenance (licensed renewal) and trouble shooting, in order to ensure systems in all offices are working properly and effectively
• Monitor support on user management, filing and data management (user ID’s and passwords, data backup and protection), in order to ensure all systems and data are working within security standards.
• Develop and maintain continuous relationship with Global Team, hardware and software maintenance vendors, in order to ensure reliable supports in case of IT problems and maintenance.
• Provide first level support and internal coaching, mentoring and training to all related users in Company regarding IT related matters, in order to ensure the transfer of IT knowledge to all users.

Educational: Min. S1 Degree from Informatics, Electrical, or equal

Experience: 3 years in PC Support and Network/system infrastructure Working experience with multinational company is an advantage.

Technical:

• Having knowledge to maintain windows XP/vista, lotus notes, MS Exchange
• Familiar with LAN/WAN, Windows Active Directory, TCP/IP
• Having Knowledge of IT Network & System (Networking, Telecommunication, Data Communication, Hardware & Software Operating System, Patches)
• Strong knowledge of IT Network Management System and Cabling System
• Understanding Security Data System and Operational System in Network & System Infrastructure
• Have Certification in IT Professional (CCNA/MCP/MCSE) are an advantage

General:

• Fluent in English both oral and written
• Customer focuses and meet customer satisfaction goal
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting
• Good communication skill with customer, global team and vendor
