Core and VAS Optimisation Team Leader
Location: Tanzania
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
RESPONSIBILITIES;
· Responsible for meeting and exceeding VAS Team SLAs
· Responsible for maintaining KPIs and good Network Performance
· Responsible for Capacity Management and Reporting
· Ensure that all Trouble tickets faults and performance degradations in the managed network are resolved in a timely manner
· Ensure that any changes to network, including integration of new nodes and elements is done in a controlled and appropriate fashion.
· Responsible for co-ordinating the technical support of VAS nodes and 3rd party equipment
· Advising on equipment utilization, capacities and any potential risks for proactive actions.
· Coordination with subcontractors for new projects and deliveries
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE;
· Database-SQL, MySQL and Oracle- basics
· Familiar with Unix, Linux, Window server
· Analytical and conceptual thinking, ability to solve problems
· Collaboration skills
· End User service orientation
· Integrity and credibility
· Planning and organising skills
· Ability to adapt and communicate in a multicultural environment
EXPERIENCE;
Experience in Core and VAS (2G and 3G) equipment
· Experience in operating telecommunication networks
· Team building / leadership skills is a plus
· Experience in communicating with different groups/teams
