Directs the day-to-day operations of the data center
Manages the customer service team to ensure timely reporting on operational activities
Leads the Data center operational support teams to provide 24/7 production and
application support
Develops and implements ITIL operational standards, processes,
Sets the direction for the department and communicates goals, expectations, standards,
and policies
Ensures all production service levels are achieved,
Analyzes operational requirements, issues, and opportunities to improve operations,
Oversees the selection, hiring, orientation, training, and development of the data center
team
Assists in the planning and development of an annual operating budget.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and working in a datacenter in a management
capacity
Minimum 10 years business unit experience,
Expert knowledge of information systems and operational processes, across multiple
platforms (VMWare, Netapps, EMC, Sun, Intel, CISCO, IBM, others)
Prior experience in ITIL process improvement / business systems analysis
Demonstrated management experience with proven leadership and team building skills
Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Languages:
Fluency in ENGLISH is mandatory
