Project Engineer TI- BSC

Supply of personnel (NSN project position: Project Engineer BSC) to manage in zone/cluster level implementation roll-out in BSC/TRAU/Core and/or transmission project. Monitoring the performance of implementation services on individual sites by NSN service suppliers in accordance to agreed Customer specifications, NSN product documentation, standards & guidelines, work processes and Quality and Health & Safety standards. Ensure that such documentation is available.

2+ years working experience in Telecom implementation projects, with at least 2+ years working in PDH/SDH MWR and/or BSC/TRAU/Core implementation projects with previous experience of service supplier team management and coordination. Project Management, Organization and communication skills.

• Specialising in Transmission projects:

1. Extensive experience in MW implementation, e.g. as installation/commissioning engineer for MW Outdoor Units, waveguides, dehydrator, MUX racks, E1/optical cabling etc. Knowledge of MW link commissioning works and MW link testing. Experience in both SDH and PDH technologies.
2. Knowledge of NSN (previously Siemens COM or Nokia Networks) MW product portfolio, product specifications, implementation specifications. SRT 1F, FlexiHopper, MetroHopper, Flexi Hybrid, Tellabs, router etc.

• Specialising in BSC/TRAU/Core projects

1. Extensive experience in BSC/Core implementation, e.g. as installation/commissioning engineer for BSC/TRAU, E1/External Alarm Cabling Preferably knowledge on 2G BSS and/or 3G RAN.
2. Knowledge of NSN (previously Siemens COM or Nokia Networks) BSC/Core product portfolio, product specifications, implementation specifications.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft office common tools, MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge
• Able to operate measurement tools such as BER Test, Ethernet test, Spectrum Analyzer etc
