HP-UX SYSTEM ENGINEER - CERTIFIED

Skill Set

• Degree in Computer Science with experience more than 2 years experience system administration
• Certified and Strong knowledge of HP-UX Operating System administration in HP Blade family :
  1. Good knowledge with unix architecture
  2. Managing physical and logical volume
  3. Managing file system, log system and purging system
  4. Jobs scheduler (cron job)
  5. Managing file system security
  6. Managing user
• Able to install & configure HP-UX
• Proficient in unix scripting
• Familiar with hardware especially Blade family

Preferential Skill Set

• Good knowledge of network and data communication is advantage value especially CISCO
• Familiar with HP Storage is advantage

Responsibilities

• To manage a system administration
  • Managing file system and allocation management
  • User maintenance
  • Providing necessary unix script for day today operation, maintenance, housekeeping and purging.
• Monitoring and Control
  • Unix and Network Health Check Maintenance
• Trouble shooting and fixing
• Manage escalation
